Welcome to the KRGC Range

Shooting is allowed 7 days a week, 8:00 a.m. to sunset. Check the calendar for scheduled, organized shoots that may reserved the pistol or rifle range for the event.
The Konocti Rod & Gun Club rifle range consists of 18 shooting points spread out over 110 feet of concrete, covered with a steel cover. The maximum range is 200 yards. There are permenant target holders positioned at 100 and 200 yrds for use by the membership. Handguns are allowed on the rifle range as long as the target is elevated so the rounds hit the 100 yards berm.
There are 9 movable steel and concrete benchs at the fireing line for use by the membership. They provide an excellent base for benchrest shooting. Personal target holders can be placed at any distance that allows rounds to impact the 100 yard berm.

The pistol range is to the left as you enter the front gate. The impact area is approx. 150 feet wide with a max range of approx. 120 feet. DO NOT shoot from the covered porch of that building.
When you bring a guest, print out a waiver from the website and place it in the box on the front of the range building. There may be waivers in the supply box, but print one out to be on the safe side.
The RESTROOM is in the building at the West end of the parking area with a white door. The restroom in not stocked all the time so plan accordingly. THERE IS NO POTABLE WATER AT THE RANGE. BRING WATER IF YOU PLAN ON AN EXTENDED SESSION.
There is a picnic area between the restrooms and the rifle range. There are several picnic tables on a concrete pad, shaded by small oaks, for relaxing away from the fireing line. Be sure to wash up if you handled any lead ammo.
